Occasionally they find their way to the realms of mortals - usually through being accidentally or purposefully summoned by dark clerics and evil magic users. If their summoner is inexperienced then the beasts can easily wrestle free from any binding spells, tear any living thing in sight to pieces then bound off into the night.
