Old King Silas
Description: In the glory days just before the ruin of Uth Lintar (and its subsequent renaming to 'Uth Nagor'), Silas was ruler of this land. He wasn't exactly the best sovereign the city had ever had and he often made poor decisions and was not very forward thinking in terms of the outcomes of his descisions. Then one day he made the folly of crossing a hag who, angered by his actions, placed a curse on him so that he could see into the future and know the consequences of any actions he might consider taking before he even began. Some might think of this as a gift, but should think again. To know the future is to lose the possibility of hope, and eventually as the shadow of the dragon Bloodbane fell across his future, Silas fell into madness finally taking his own life. His son ascended the throne but after a few short years the city was destroyed. But even in death his spirit knows no peace and will wander, lost and insane, the Evermoors for all eternity. Occasionally he appears to travellers fortelling prophecies of their dooms. But, not truly malevolent by nature, he has - once or twice - been known to help people with warnings too, but it is difficult to tell the difference with one so mad. Average Statistics Species : ghost (was human) Alignment (if any): neutral Deity: none: the Undead are the godless dead.
