Nacexa

Species Description:
These are huge creatures, possibly the result of a mutation that has occurred to ordinary scorpions. They are arachnids, with eight legs, but their bodies are long and segmented like a centipede and their faces do not look like spiders. Also they have scorpion tails and claws with which to grab their prey. They are particularly fond of arachs. Larger nacexas also feed on young dragons when they can.

Nacexa live in caves and any dank subterranean environment where there is enough space for them. They are constantly on the move in search of prey and have more of a territory which they always patrol rather than a single lair. They are highly territorial and not more than one nacexa will be found in the same place. When they attack they mainly snap with their claws and will only occasionally make a strike with their tail as the curved barb tends to be difficult to get free again. The tail is their best weapon as it has sacs containing a paralytic poison to immobilise the prey.

Nacexa move a lot like centipedes and are just as happy running along walls and ceilings as well as climbing up these to evade attacks.
